All introduced products are monitored for Product Change Notifications (PCN) or End-of-Life notices from manufacturers. This enables us to place final orders in time and initiate all necessary steps to prevent bottlenecks in spare parts supply.

This is why we are a member of the Component Obsolescence Group Deutschland e.V (COGD), which tries to minimize or prevent the effects of the unavailability of components in products. Obsolescence management can be interpreted as part of life cycle management. In recent decades, the product life cycles of high-tech components and complete products have become increasingly divergent. More modern components are often replaced after just 6 months by successors that are not always compatible. That is why we take care of equivalent and compatible successors.
