Distec has been bonding in the VacuBond® dry gel process for more than 5 years, revolutionizing the optical bonding market. Never before has a zero-optical-error agreement been standard, never before there was a response time for prototypes of one to two weeks.

Distec’s development team invests time and again in test series with different gel materials to ensure that only the best material is used. The test criteria are adhesion power, processability, operating temperature range, yellowing and repair options.

Innolux’ 17" TFT display G170J1-LE with WUXGA resolution (1920x1200 pixels) offers a wide, symmetrical viewing angle of v/h 176°/176°, a wide temperature range of -20 to + 80°C and an integrated LED converter. However, the connection to a normal LVDS and backlight interface is difficult, because between the two Molex connectors on the display there is a long distance. Therefore Distec developed the adapter board IF419 and a cable set, which combines the two display connectors to one LVDS and backlight interface.

We now offer the high-resolution 5" (12.67cm) TFT display G050TAN01.0 from the well-known manufacturer AUO as a standard product. Thanks to its HD resolution with 720(h) x 1280(v) pixels and a large color gamut, finest structures and shades are brilliantly displayed. Featuring a height of only 1.75mm, a MIPI interface and a wide viewing angle of 89° from all directions, the display is suitable for a wide variety of applications - including industrial ones. The wide temperature range of -20 to +70°C and low power consumption allow for use in mobile or battery-powered devices.

Distec’s latest development is a 46" FHD VideoWall monitor. Due to the narrow bezel of a maximum of 3.5mm, the monitor is ideal for displaying an almost frameless image or for creating a large video wall by combining up to 25 monitors.

The successful, network-capable media player VideoPoster was recently updated to our latest hardware technology Artista-IoT and now includes an additional function:

VideoPoster-IV now supports Raspberry Pi’s official WLAN USB adapter which achieved the best performance results in internal comparison tests. As soon as the adapter is plugged into the USB port, the media player can easily be connected to Wi-Fi via the web interface.
